We carefully consider whether appointing an assessor is necessary for your claim. The decision is based on various factors, such as the severity of the loss or damage, the potential for the assessor to speed up the claims process, or the need to determine the cause of the loss or damage.

If we determine that appointing an assessor is necessary, we will do so within 10 business days of receiving your substantiated claim. The assessor may be a loss adjuster, loss assessor, or investigator, depending on the circumstances.

Once we appoint an assessor, we will inform you of the appointment within 5 business days. This notification will provide you with the details of the assessor, including their contact information, so that you can liaise with them as required throughout the claims process.
