Meet Tuan Duong

Tuan's commitment to helping everyday Australians maximise their property investments is rooted in his own experience as a property investor who subsequently specialised in tax depreciation.

When he purchased his first investment property, a goal he'd worked hard to achieve, his accountant recommended obtaining a tax depreciation schedule from a quantity surveyor. Although Tuan had a strong background in Building Economics, he had a limited understanding of how it applied to Australian taxation. Seeing the substantial tax savings firsthand opened his eyes to the significant financial impact this service could deliver, and he realised that many investors had no idea these savings existed.

This inspired Tuan to found Duo Tax Quantity Surveyors, combining his construction expertise with his passion for helping others build wealth through smarter property decisions. What began as a tax depreciation business has grown into Australia's largest property services organisation, with a national team that has now assisted over 100,000 everyday Australians. Today, Duo Tax offers a comprehensive suite of services, including tax depreciation, property valuation and insurance, supporting clients throughout their entire investment journey.

Tuan is affiliated with the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and is a Registered Tax Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board. He works alongside a team of CPV Registered Property Valuers and Licensed Property Insurance Representatives.
